Mark Crislip, MD, has been a practicing Infectious Disease specialist in Portland, Oregon, since 1990. Dr Crislip is creator of numerous online sources of information. He produces two podcasts: the award-winning Quackcast, a skeptical podcast review of supplements, complementary and alternative medicine, and the Persiflagers Infectious Disease Puscast, a review of infectious disease issues. He also writes an online guide to infectious diseases called The Persilflagers Annotated Compendium of Infectious Disease Facts, Dogma and Opinion, as well as Rubor, Dolor, Calor, Tumor, an infectious disease blog hosted by Medscape.
